Our History

In 2003, Charles Ward founded All Weighs Moving with one clear goal: to provide honest, reliable, and accessible moving services for everyday people. With just one truck and a few close friends, Charles Ward began helping local families relocate with care and dignity. There were no grand ambitions of dominating the industry — only the desire to offer a service that people could trust.

Key Milestones

2000–2005: Focused on short-distance apartment and house moves. Gained trust through consistent service. Added a second truck in 2005 and opened a small dispatch base.
2006–2010: Began commercial moves. Added packing and basic storage. Created internal checklists and time-tracking tools. Did not scale fast, but reduced service errors.
2011–2015: Added licensed intrastate services. Opened first warehouse in 2013. Combined moving and storage under one service plan. Built repeat customer base.
2016–2019: Offered furniture disassembly, fragile-item transport (e.g. piano, pool table), and coverage upgrades. GPS and digital invoicing implemented. Crew size grew slowly, with in-house training.
2020: Adapted to COVID-19. Switched to contactless estimates. Maintained full operations under CDC safety guidelines. No staff layoffs.
2021–2023: Focused on core services: moving, packing, storage, labor. Improved claims processing and material handling. Tested new routes in nearby regions.
2024: All Weighs Moving serves both local and long-distance requests with insured, documented handling. Offers full packing, unpacking, short- and long-term storage. Small fleet, lean staff, low overhead.
